What nappies are used inside the nappy cake?

We only use the best branded nappies such as Huggies and Pampers in our nappy cakes. We also offer the option to upgrade your nappy cake to Eco-friendly Bio-degradable nappies by Nature Babycare.
All of the nappy cakes include size 3 nappies as standard. Size 3 nappies are designed to fit the average baby weighing 4-9kgs or 9-20lbs. The average weight of a newborn baby in the UK is approx 7lbs 8oz (3.4kgs) so we use size 3 nappies not only to allow for babies with a larger birth weight but also to allow the new parents to enjoy their nappy cake baby gift before the need to dismantle it.

 

What is the quality of items inside the Nappy Cake?

All of the items included in our Nappy Cakes have been vigorously tried and tested. All Nappies included are either Huggies, Pampers or Nature Babycare and all clothing is made from 100% Baby Soft Cotton*. All of the toys are CE marked and conform to European Safety Standards.

Why should I choose Pure Nappy Cakes for my nappy cake?

Pure Nappy Cakes have many different product ranges, for example our 'Deep Filled' range is overflowing with baby gifts, much more than the average Nappy Cake. This does not mean we compromise on quality, we just believe in good old fashioned value for money and quality of service.
 

I do not have a Paypal account, can I pay for my nappy cake using my card?

You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase from Pure Nappy Cakes Ltd.
At the checkout you will have the choice to 'check out' or 'check out with Paypal'. If you wish to pay by card select 'Check out' and if you wish to use your Paypal account simply select 'Check out with Paypal.'
If you already have a paypal account registered to your email address you will be asked 'Did you know you have a Paypal account?' You can then choose to 'Log in and continue' to use your Paypal account or 'continue without logging in' to pay on your card without using Paypal.

Can I collect my nappy cake order directly from you?

Of course you can, please pay for your nappy cake or baby gift via the website in the normal way and we will refund the Postage via a Paypal payment once you have collected your order. Please Contact us before you pay so that we can give you collection details and stock availability for the item you wish to purchase.
 

I have contacted you and not received a reply yet, why is this?

Please be aware that from time to time legitimate emails from Pure Nappy Cakes may be mistaken for 'spam' or 'junk mail' by some email providers. Please ensure you check your 'junk folder' for emails from Pure Nappy Cakes.
When contacting Pure Nappy Cakes by telephone please leave a voicemail message clearly stating your contact details and rest assured that someone will get back to you if your call is unanswered.
 

Can you add a message to my nappy cake and deliver my order straight to the recipients?

Yes of course we can. At the checkout you will need to enter the postal address that your card is registered to, as you continue through the check out process you will be given the opportunity to 'Review your information' before clicking the 'Pay Now' button and making the payment. On the 'Review your information' screen you will see the Postal address, to change this to a different address click on 'change' and then enter the new delivery address.
If you are sending your parcel to someone else, please provide their contact telephone number if possible so that we can pass this to the courier should there be any problems with the delivery.
 Below the Postal Address you will also see the options to add a 'Gift Message' and Add a 'Note to seller'. Gift tags are only available on Nappy cakes and hampers.
 
You can also purchase a greetings card to accompany your nappy cake from our 'add ons' shop; choose from baby girl, baby boy, neutral new baby, twins or maternity leave cards.

Can I have my Nappy Cake Gift Wrapped?

All Pure Nappy Cakes include Free Gift Wrapping in the form of luxury satin ribbon, colour coordinated bows and an abundance of cascading curly ribbons so your nappy cake will arrive ready to give as a baby gift.
 

How long will it take for my nappy cake order to arrive?

Most Pure Nappy Cakes are freshly 'baked' once we receive your order. We will normally dispatch your order within 48 hours of cleared payment, often sooner. We use a variety of postal services and couriers to deliver your nappy cake, please contact us if you require further details.
 

I need my Nappy Cake urgently; do you offer next day delivery?

Yes, please contact us with your requirements for further details. Please be aware that there may be additional charges for this service and availability is dependant on stock levels and the date and time of ordering.
 

Can you tailor make Nappy Cakes?

Yes, if you have a particular theme or budget you may wish to have a made to measure nappy cake. Please contact us with your specific requirements and we will be more than happy to help you create your perfect bespoke nappy cake. Please note prices will vary for this service.
 

What holds the Nappy Cake together?

There are no staples, pins or glue used in a Pure Nappy Cake. This is to ensure that all items are perfectly usable after the cake is dismantled. This means that Nappies are held together using alternative methods; please take extreme care when taking the cake apart.
